One day your hair is great, holding a style, doing the things you want...and the next day, your bob is more of a blob, or your style falls flat before you even put the hairspray away.

Is it your styling poducts? The weather? Does your brush need a good cleaning? Or is it time to book an appointment?

Answer: It could be all of the above. The soggy Spring weather here in Hilton, NY doesn't help, but a cut or just a trim is one thing that will definitely move the needle.

A trim is more than just a beauty thing- it's essential to hair health. Unhealthy hair will never help you to feel your best. Here are our suggestions for haircut maintenance.

Frequency:

Depending on your hair type, goals, and style, we recommend booking your haircut every 6-12 weeks. Pro-Tip: Prebook your appointments. As busy women, we know how easy it is to forget when something isn't already on the calendar!

PSST: Even if you're growing your hair out, you should still get trims every 12-ish weeks to prevent split ends. Those pesky splits will eventually cause breakage if you don't take care of them! Healthy Hair Starts with a Trim:

If styling your hair is becoming more difficult, if your ends look dry or frayed, or if your hair just simply doesn't have a flattering shape anymore....it's time for a trim!

To maintain your hair health between appointments, we recommend a weekly deep conditioning mask. And ALWAYS use a heat protectant any time you a blow drying or heat styling! For an extra dose of hydration for your mane, apply a serum to your mids/ends each night and sleep on a satin pillowcase. Here are a few of our favorite products for healthy hair:
